What Is Tasking for It?

Hello, world! I’m so excited to get this blog off the ground, and start sharing my journey with you!

First things first:

What Is Tasking for It?

Here’s the deal. When you have big goals you want to achieve, but struggle with keeping yourself on-task, there are a ton of tools to help you along the way.

So many, in fact, that it can be quite overwhelming to choose the one that’s right for you.

Several of those tools come in the form of analog planners and productivity journals. If you’re considering some of these planners, it can be hard to discern which one is going to work best for your goals and planning style.

That’s where I come in! I’m here to test drive as many planners and journals as I can, so you don’t have to. I want to find out which ones get real results.

Why Am I Tasking for It?

Most of the planner reviews I’ve come across only cover the aesthetics, and show you how the pages are organized. They’ll tell you everything there is to know about the book’s dimensions, paper weight, sturdiness, and features. And there’s nothing wrong with that! I fully intend to cover these things, too.

However, I’m craving a lot more! I want to know how the planner actually functions. What’s it going to be like once I’m down in the weeds, getting through my day-to-day? Will it help me set goals and keep me on track to achieve them?

The Honest Truth…

I struggle with follow-through a lot.

Once a shiny new ambition has lost its luster, I break down.

Once it’s time to start putting in the hard work to achieve my goal, I start to think of all the reasons why I should do something else instead.

I need something that will help me lay out the steps, keep me accountable, and see my goals through to completion.
